Well there's a blast from the past and no mistake! LOL!. Yes, that was my Web site on btinternet (may their souls rot in hell... - it's a long story). In the very early days of the CSO, I had all the CSO Download Library on this server, and Sulla had the Site and GUI running on his. I got hooked on CC2 and CC2 mods way before CCIII.

BT took my account away for 'overuse'...! We managed to salvage most of the Library before it was killed, and they were transferred to the CSO Server. Maybe some got lost. It seems so long ago now.

So yes, that vonB was/is me :) As you can see from my Sig, TheWizard is another Alter Ego of mine... ;)

p.s. Phew! I am glad you found out who the real maker of CC2 1940 is :)

It seems silly to keep posting about the AAR here, so I am moving it to the AAR Forum :)

Pulling my hair out here.
I have done a complete uninstall of CC3.
Installed CC3 and the MS patch.
Using the 5.1 plugin manager, I can get other plugin mods to work, but cannot get grossdeutschland or the vetmod to run. Both will crash CC at the campaigns selection. With GD, I get the error that something is wrong with lvov4x.mmm.
I have installed the maps mentioned in this thread.
I am running XP Pro.

Heads up on my previous post!
I found that the lvov map installed into a sub-folder in Maps. The zip has a path I copied those files to Maps, and all works so far.

Hi, I can't help you with the other problems. I'm sure some of the experts here can. They have been a tremendous help to me. Now the map, I can help you with. lvov4x.mmm. It has been my experience that this map either doesn't install or simply isn't on the install disk. If you go to Close Combat Downloads, look for maps and CC III, you will find it. I will admit that it has been awhile since I have been on the site and Sulla and the guys have moved somethings and made them much, much better. Good luck. GD is a pain to play as the Krauts. But as someone told me, it is the real mccoy. Protect that armour pal. Kill Soviet tanks with AT guns, their AT guns with your infantry, and save what little armour you will have to pretend you are Patton and grind those kraut infantry teams into sausage. Have fun. It is a great mod. Dawgfan56
