Exclamation BHQ for multiplayer H2H

There is now a Close Combat Modern Tactics Room set up on BHQ

You can download BHQ HERE

You will need to go into configure/configure and tick CCMT room.

Also /Filter change your text colour to anything but black.

You will have to exit BHQ then re-enter for the update to take effect.

Select the CCMT room

Go to Configure/configure

And select "Do not use directplay"

and browse to your Close Combat Modern Tactics.exe

When games are launched from a BHQ room now all CCMT players in the room will have their game launch automatically.

Navigate to the Multiplayer room. (Host selects a battle first)

All others search for host and press ctrl-V to enter the hosts IP address.

Double click on the battle shown and you are connected.

updates to this post coming.

Has anyone gotten this to work? Spent about an hour with someone online today and neither of us could figure out how to launch the game.

Been playing on BHQ on and off for a few years now.. (With CC2 mostly, but also for COI and other CC versions) never had an issue. Very rarely it was down.. so maybe it was a brief period of downtime?

Could you make is less intuitive please?

This is just one of the many reasons I've given up on this game. You guys make no effort at all.

Negativity...

Can you be a little more intuitive?

This is why the game has given up on you....

You put no effort into it.....

I haven't actually used BHQ, but it doesn't seem intuitive to me.
But I like the way not everything is easy, learning is good.
I'm looking forward to tinkering with my router, and forwarding those ports!
Then again what is simple to some can be far from obvious to others.
I couldn't figure out what ports needed forwarding, I had to ask. And I got an answer.
