Default German soldiers using Panzerfaust...

... without reason. This wasn't the first time when they did. I see a lot of times (well maybe it's not that lot, but it's really annoying) that when my infantry is firing at an enemy infantry, and when there's no clear line of sight these guys are vasting there Panzerfausts (Firing at Area). I know that in WWII German troops used Panzerfausts against infantry - but only during urban fighting or against fortified positions. So now what? Because when I have a Jagdpanzer in reserve it's not a big problem, but when there's an English armor assault and my little idiots are using AT weapons to kill a single enemy grunt...
Is that possible to fix (or something like that) this for GJS 4.4? Maybe it would be better to don't fire Panzerfausts at any kind of infantry?

Yes it would be possible to make Panzerfausts fire only at armor, but I don't feel like doing that. For one thing, according to Hofbauers Panzerfaust page, most Panzerfausts produced and distributed to the troops were likely used against infantry.

I have not seen infantry fire fausts at soft targets a lot. When it occasionally happens, and there's also some Brit armor to deal with, bad luck. If you have only a few teams equiped with fausts and no other means to deal with enemy armor, you'll just have to be very carefull with deployment and fire-orders of these teams.

And what about firing Panzerfausts only at troops who are in buildings/bunkers; or only firing Panzerfausts when all ammo of the primary weapon is (and all grenades) expanded? Is it possibile this way?

And sometimes demo charges are also used in a very silly way. But thats a problem of the original game.
I mean it can't be edited.

For what it's worth I have seen footage of Russians using captured Panzerfausts in the Inf. role against germans in Berlin. But I agree that it's frustrating when PZF teams use them against INF and then can't ward off tanks when you need them to. And I really hate when my best inf squads kill themselves by using demo charges against enemy inf.

I have a 1.7 KB file of panzerfausts being fired at a mill, and an open field. Very good footage. I got it from Kazaa. I don't know how else to share the clip. But if you use Kazaa, check it out. search panzershreck. (Even though its not a panzershreck.)

Probably the same movie as is on the CC2 disk.

According to Hofbauers Panzerfaust site, the majority of fausts was very likely used against infantry targets. They were often used in attacks on buildings.
