Default Bob Installation problem

Hi all,

this mod is cool.
Maps are outstanding and i love the rest of it too.

I would like to thank the BoB creators for making this mod.

Now i will proceed to tell you a problem i met.
But first let me cover my flanks cause i saw in an other thread someone trying to point another minor problem but he received fire and i wouldnt like to be in his position.

The reasons I post this are 3 :

1. MAYBE the creators would like to know the minor errors of this mod in case they would like to fix them in a next version and make this mod even more cool and error free.

2. I havent help to this mod but i will enjoy it ,due to some people's hard work to create it.So i thought i at least ought to them to mention a minor problem if i see one with the illusion that i contribute and maybe help it to become evenbetter.

3. Someone else maybe meet this same problem and so maybe help him find the solution

(Crowd's voice--> so nikits,do you really think you help with this post? What an illusion. Better start learning how to make a mod so you can really help )

Now here it is:
When i tried to install the mod with cfg manager i got an error saying:
file not found ...path\Kόstrin
also later when i fixed that i got another error saying :
file not found ...path:\Mόncheberg

I checked the files in the appropriate cfg manager path and i saw that instead of the files Kόstrin and Mόncheberg there were the files : KBstrin and MBncheberg.

Notice the problem has to do with the funny ό . I guess it is a special character of another language which my pc's installed languages (english and greek) wont recognise correctly and so probably while unzipin the files instead of the ό substitute it with the B.

How to solve this:

-Edit the install.txt file of the mod.It is in the cfg manager path something like this...your_path\CfgV13\System\Packages\BoBv10
-Find and Change all the instances of the funny ό with another letter.(It comes only with the files Kόstrin and Mόncheberg)
-Save the install.txt file
-Find and rename the above files (they are in the same directory where the install.txt file is) changing only the funny ό to what letter you used.

Now the installation will run smoothly.

Thx for reading this.

These are ü, u with German umlaut. I don't know everything on how the files work as I just did the plugin and helped with some data, but AFAIK having them without umlaut would make them appear in-game without umlaut also?

If i understand you correctly these characters are as if i would use β which is a greek letter corresponding to b letter and maybe not correctly readable by everyone.

Well i guess what you say maybe the problem.Though maybe it is a rare problem but we will find out if other people say they ll say that they have anticipated it too.

Thx...

We'll se if we can do anything about it in the next version. Sorry, but changing just that right now would mean to much work repacking and re-uploading stuff that it just isn't worth it. Thanks for writing a fix for others that might have the same problem.

Of course mate.
It is quite logical.
No one expect immediate corrections wasting time.
Better is a major update with as much bugs corrected as possible.
Thx 4 your concern...
