HELP NEEDED for DOF II

G'day CC modders

DOF has been a huge project for me. Learning how to edit the data/base text files, doing the sound editing and finally editing the zfx files. It took a lot of time to learn and perfect. Unfortunately my time of being unemployed and single are over! There is no time left to learn to edit gadget files or modify the UI.
So I am pleading with the CC3 modding community for help. Since DOF was released I have recieved many requests for an original UI and more vehicle graphics changes. I have made a few sound changes and a lot of changes to the vehicle graphics for the next DOF release see:

There have been other improvements in the text files and campaign operations

What is needed:

Someone who has experience in doing a UI mod for CC3.

Someone who has experience in editing gadget files (specifically changing team icons). The unused US and UK AFV icons need to be removed from the RR gadget file and replaced with the original CC3 FJ infantry icons. It would also be good if some more gun icons could be added for the artillery guns.

Anyone who who helps would naturally receive credit in DOF II's readme files.

Whats a UI mod?

Though I don't have CC3, I might be able to help if its what I think.

Really, I would not have a clue, its just that some CC3 fans have suggested that DOF include a custum "UI".
MY impression is that it is the start screen with the pointing Russian soldier (that has the "Play a Game", "Boot Camp", "Scenario Editor" and "Multiplayer" buttons on it) and the requistition and other screens.
The West Front mod has a tiger print on it. I would like a genuine color East Front pic on the start screen. Here is one example:

i'm not totally sure but i think buf has a template for where all the buttons go on the cc3 screens that would make it easier to change the main screen to include any new picture

I have templates for all of hte CC3 screens. I can even customize the fonts that are used.

If you want the buttons different colours thatn what stock CC3 uses, that can be doen as well, but add a few hours.

But seriously the background screens I can do in an hour.

With the amount of work I have for all my CC work, Id like to just do the screens for now & leave the buuttons as is..

That would be excellent M8.
Its the CCimages file (17.3MB) in the graphics folder where that stuff is done i take it?
If it zipped down under 10MB you could email me the modded file(yahoo email can send or recieve up to 10 MB).

That sounds great.
We just need to choose best pic 1st
The main screen would be sufficient, but the others a bonus.
Well I have gone thru lots of pics and have made a zip of pics with a readme for you.
Just need to send it to you.
There are some really good pics that can fit around the main screen buttons.
To put it simply, I cant choose just one!
Maybe we ought to put it to the community (or should we surprise them?).

Personally making screens like this is one of my favorite parts of modding...

Although i think your idea of putting forth a community 'poll' to get their opinion... because its your mod, I think you should pick the picture as it should reflect a shot that you the creator feels captures the mood for the mod.

Hey.. if you pick a couple of main screens.. Id fill out the rest with shots done in the similar style.
